We are Gabriele and Giovanni, the electronic duo i‑phant. The project took shape in summer 2025 and our practice is grounded in electroacoustic improvisation. Our work hybridizes analog and digital instruments. We use semi‑modular synthesizers, no‑input mixing techniques, in‑house software developed in Max/MSP, various modes of sound synthesis and processing, and elements taken from natural and urban soundscapes. Our performances feature real‑time generated visuals and multichannel spatialized sound.
